A tribute to the King

Remembering Martin Luther King Jr and paying tribute to him as an icon, leader and galvanizer of the civil rights movement. Without the courage conviction and vision he led with, I can not imagine what the state of 'Race relations' would be today in the United States and globally. He provided that moment, after which, this country would be forever changed. Even so, we still have far to go.
A prayer of thanks and gratitude always enters my heart whenever the occasion arises of his works being discussed or his national holiday comes around, or sometimes in the day to day situation where the weapon of non-violence or the amour of peaceful disagreement must be use so that I remain dignified and not stoop to the lowly playing field tactics of racism.
Though I have played a variety of his messages in my music mixes over the years, this one will always stand out as a personal favorite. (featured in the opening moments of this mix.)
